Care
  • Never rub the inside of the lens when it’s wet. Only dab moisture with a microfibre cloth.
  • Shake or tap the snow out, don’t wipe it away.
  • When swapping magnetically, always hold it by the frame – never run your thumb across the lens.
What comes with the Blaze 2.0: EVA case, ski goggle in blue, yellow-tinted Low Light lens and pouch

Does it fit your helmet and face?

Three checks from the fit guide. The Blaze 2.0 is OTG-compatible, meaning it’s built to be worn over prescription glasses.

  • 14 cm

    Frame under the goggle

Prescription glasses up to about 14 cm wide usually fit underneath, as long as the arms sit close to your head.

  • 18 cm

    Temple to temple

The Blaze 2.0 is about 18 cm wide and should reach your temples or extend just slightly beyond them.

  • 10 cm

Field of view and helmet brim

The field of view is up to 10 cm high. The top of the goggle frame should follow the helmet brim: if a finger fits between them, the combination isn’t ideal.

Glasses wearers: A drawing shows from the front and from above how your frame sits inside the Blaze 2.0, what to measure and where there has to be a gap. To the drawing

Helmet Fit guarantee: If the Blaze doesn’t fit your helmet, you can return it free of charge within 30 days. This applies to Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Good fit and a big field of view, nose cut-out big enough. The lens swaps in 3 seconds, the sun lens has a very stylish tint, would buy again any time

Update: The goggle is great and I would buy it again, especially because of the yellow lens. Unfortunately it already had a slight scratch on delivery. At first customer service was hard to reach, but after that they responded brilliantly and found a solution. Great!

Frequently asked questions

Does the Blaze 2.0 fit over my prescription glasses?

Yes, it’s OTG-compatible, meaning it’s built to be worn over prescription glasses. Measure your glasses on the outside from arm to arm: frames up to about 14 cm wide usually fit underneath, as long as the arms sit close to your head. The real-world test is what counts – the lenses must not touch.

Drawing: your frame inside the Blaze 2.0 · How to test it

Which lens do I use when?

S3 (Blue 14%, Purple 15%) for sun and clear visibility. S4 (Black 6%) for very bright light, glaciers and ski touring. The Low Light lens S1 (76%) for snowfall, flat light, fog and dusk.

Doesn’t it fog twice as much with prescription glasses?

In practice, with OTG it’s usually the prescription glasses that fog first, not the goggle. So wear your buff or neck warmer below the goggle, never pulled up over your nose and tucked under it. If in doubt, treat your prescription glasses with an anti-fog product, not the goggle.

Is the S4 lens suitable for road use?

No. Category S4 lenses are not suitable for road use. Take the goggle off on the drive to the ski area.

When will my Blaze arrive?

In Switzerland and Liechtenstein, we ship by Swiss Post within 2 working days. Delivery then usually takes 1–2 working days. Shipping CHF 10, free from CHF 100.

Can I return it?

Yes, in Switzerland and Liechtenstein: 30-day voluntary right of return, return shipping free. You can get the prepared return label via info@vertical-unit.com. Please send the goods back complete, including both lenses.

What does the lifetime lens warranty cover?

If a lens breaks into two or more pieces during use, we replace it free of charge – for life. A photo is enough – you don’t need to send us the broken lens. The warranty applies to the first purchaser, on presentation of the original invoice or proof of purchase. Not covered: scratches, abrasion and damaged coating, normal wear and tear, frame, strap and foam, improper handling, loss and theft.
